Fingers crossed that the Mayans were wrong...

Today, my lovelies, I wore a wig... with a highlight... that I made with a sharpie... and I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on it!  The things people notice and enjoy will never cease to amaze me.  So anyway, it is now Wednesday and I am dragging myself through a week that is moving, seemingly, as slowly as molasses.  I have been trying to find time to pack my suitcase, as I leave for Europe in 5 days and am a bit nervous about how I'm going to fit 2 weeks worth of outfits AND Trip's Christmas and Birthday presents, but I have been praying for a small miracle and mayhaps it shall actually occur when/if I ever get around to actually putting things into my suitcase.  I have 2 more days at school, which are going to be party days, so hopefully stuffing myself silly with sweets will make the time pass a smidge faster.  I'm in the most horrendously wonderful holding pattern waiting for Christmas Eve to arrive so that Santa (aka United Airlines) can whisk me away in his sleigh (aka uber cramped coach class) so that I may wake up on Christmas morning on another continent... provided that the Mayans were way off base and the world doesn't end on Friday...
