Just when you start to need a bit more excitement in your life...

I've been in Germany for 3 days and have definitely been reminded by these 3 days to always expect the unexpected.  With Trip's deployment looming, there is a TON of stuff to get done, and if I weren't here, it would be 80000% easier for him, but he has been doing a fantabulous job of being around as much as he can.  While he has been out, I've been spending the last few days laying around and doing all the things I don't have time to do at home: sleep, snooze, dream, relax, watch Ghost Hunters, and spend waaaaaay too much time on Buzzfeed and Pinterest.  I spent some time playing with my new camera and tripod collection (Daddy and Trippy are SO good to me!) and had myself a nice little photoshoot.  Just when I thought that my day was over, I got a big surprise...

The view from Trip's window. Not to shabby, eh?

Trip whisked me away to the walled Medieval village of Rothenburg, about 3 hours away from his house JUST TO EAT DINNER and then we zoomed home down the autobahn at 160 km/h!  Literally... it was a 6 hour trip, just for some schnitzel and spaetzle!  For the record, it was totally worth it!

This is supposedly the most photographed spot in Germany.  I cannot verify that and have never seen a photo of this spot, but I figured I'd pass it on!
