I don't mean to Prague, but... seriously...

Well, my lovelies, we had to leave Prague eventually.  I really wanted to make a street style post, but learned the hard way that it is very hard to do in the winter when everyone has big huge coats on.  In any case, I got to play dress up with Trip, who is determinedly American and unaccustomed to much of anything other than being in uniform.  I cannot believe how many people wear Timberlands as a fashion item over here, and since Trippy is always wearing some sort of combat boot, I figured it would be fun to try and make him look European.  Needless to say, he didn't appreciate the look quite as much as I did and changed as soon as this photo was snapped. 

In any case, the day was lovely.  We got to take our final ride on the longest and fastest escalator I have ever had the pleasure/dismay/uncertainty of riding on (and with luggage, no less!).  We found a lock wall and were sad that we didn't have our own lover's lock to attach.  If you don't know what this is, many large cities have unknowingly designated spaces as part of the so-called "Urban Padlock Movement" but is thought to have originated in China where couples wrote their names on a lock and locked it around something permanent as a symbol of everlasting love.  These spaces are often on or near bridges and are always interesting to look at. 

Trippy and I walked across the St. Charles bridge, climbed to the top of the clock tower in Old Town Square and found a pizzaria tucked away at the back of a graffitti-covered alley where we had been geocaching the day before and had what was literally the BEST meal of my whole entire life.  If you find yourself in Prague, it is called Don Giovanni's and I cannot give you directions, but highly encourage you to get the Praguese pizza and the gnocci quattro formaggi!  It will change your life! 

After all of that, we went on a ghost tour in the old Jewish quarter and saw where the Golum is supposedly buried in the wall of a synagogue, ate some goulasch and sachetorte and hopped a midnight sleeper train to Vienna!  I apologize for the lack of outfit photos.  It is super cold out here!
