The day that Starbucks came to base…

Saturday, September 13, 2014

Guess what!  Guess what!  Guess what!  We finally got a STARBUCKS on base!  A real, actual Starbucks.  Not a pretend we-serve-Starbucks-coffee cafe.  A genuine Starbucks.  And it opened today.  And guess what?

THEY DON'T HAVE PUMPKIN SPICE!

Alotta nerve, amiright? They tried to pass off their "white mocha with chai plus creme and pumpkin topping" as a close second, but I'm calling shenanigans.  No dice.  I really shouldn't complain, though.  WE HAVE STARBUCKS (and gingerbread latte season is right around the corner, and those taste quite a bit like PSL, so even thought it's been over 2 years since I got a real live PSL fix, I guess I'll survive).  #firstworldproblems

Side bar from the PSL:  I've clearly been watching too much PLL lately, because this stripy outfit came out of left field.  It's another Aria-inspired look that apparently, my brain managed to concoct overnight.  I don't think I would have ever thought to match a striped sweater with criss cross tights AND even get a matching accent nail going, but hey… it happened and it was awesome.

I felt like a rockstar and when Soldier Boy and I went to lunch, we ran into a ton of people we knew.  He told me when he got home that he was glad we saw so many people because he got to show me off!  Yay!

Oh… and because I felt like such a BAMF in this outfit (while listening to what my upper level jazz dancers think is just about the coolest playlist ever), I decided to be super sultry (hahaha… that's a joke) for these photos! Rawr!

… but really, ya'll… me… sultry?  HA! Fishface!  Gaaaaah, do I have serious Lucy-Hale-Delvigne-Envy-Syndrome!

  10. DAYUMMM girl. Loving this look! Also I will happily send you my share of PSLs, I just can't do it. I read a blog post about the REAL ingredients that goes in those things the other day - LETHAL (and no real pumpkin at all) so you might be better off making it at home anyways!

  14. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!! You finally got a starbucks :) I'm shocked they don't sell their syrups - they would make such a fortune on that. How can I try those nail wraps - to be honest I thought you did it yourself.
