Groundhog Day was last week and the gosh darned rodent didn't see his shadow, which in my mind means that spring is absolutely around the corner. It was with this thought that I ever-so-slightly cracked my window before climbing into bed. The fresh cool (read: not freezing cold) air helped me drift off into a wonderfully peaceful sleep.
And then my alarm went off in the morning and the world outside my window had been dusted with snow. The thermometer read 28°F.
However, I'd already picked out this fun, springy outfit and ended up taking outfit photos before work WHILE IT WAS SNOWING.
Really, I wanted to show off this necklace from the 31 Bits Spring 2016 collection. If you haven't heard of 31 Bits, please take a moment to check them out. This brand works with female artisans in Uganda to make absolutely stunning jewelry from recycled objects (namely old posters and papers)! How cool is that? I've seen jewelry made from paper beads at a number of craft fairs, but never have I seen it made with such attention to detail and design aesthetic! The pieces in the spring collection are to die for, but hop over to their site to take a look for yourself!
