Viva Las Vegas...

Skar Designs gold necklace, Skar Designs turquoise bracelet, Maurice's ivory tank top, Grayson Shop print jogger pants, casual outfit, welcome to Las Vegas sign, Shelby American Museum

Well, it's officially official.  I have arrived, started work, my couch is finally here and I have internet in my apartment.  Oh, and we finally had a chance to go track down the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.  It really doesn't get much more official than that!

It's been wonderful to finally have SB back in my life to spend time with.  Since we're both very new to this part of the world, we have a ton of exploring to do and it's always nice to have an exploration buddy (especially one with whom you've previously explored with).  On this particular day, we took one of my co-worker's suggestions and stopped at a local brekkie place.  I ordered German chocolate pancakes that were to DIE for!

Then we made a quick stop to the Shelby Museum to look at a whole bunch of sweet old Mustangs before heading to the Vegas sign.

A few tips, should you happen to want to follow this particular itinerary:

: the museum is free, but you should probably book a tour.  We did not book a tour and were therefore not able to see the whole museum.  While it was cool to see the showroom, we missed out on a lot of other things.

: see the sign super early in the morning.  It has it's own parking lot and is often full of ruthless tourist-shuttling taxis.  There is a line to take photos in front of the sign, so unless you want to step off to the side like SB and myself, arrive early to beat the line!

Oh yeah... and keep your eyes peeled for sights like this ^  (Love it!)

What's sustainable about this outfit?

: the jewelry is all handmade

  1. Looks like you're having an amazing time! I've seen the Las Vegas sign and I totally agree about going early, we never managed to get a good picture because of all the other tourists being there. Great post! x

    1. I'm debating going back really early one morning just to see when it gets super busy and also to do a full-on photoshoot without having a huge line waiting behind me!
