Weeeeeeeee! I was thinking about saving this post for #SustainableSunday, but this snap is way too indicative of how happy I am that tomorrow is Friday. It's been a rough week, but let's not focus on that!
The real focus here should be on this outfit. My dress was a fabulous find from ThredUp, which is (in my humble opinion) kind of a groundbreaking company that accepts gently-used brand name and designer clothing and then resells it. It's a fabulous way to help the average person declutter their closet, earn a bit of money, and sends perfectly good garments on to a longer life.
My jewelry is also pretty awesome. It was handmade by women in Uganda from beads made from recycled paper. It doesn't get much more sustainable than that! If you like this jewelry, you're in luck! You have one more night to enter to win a set of it for yourself! Just click HERE and scroll down for the entry form!
